Statement of purpose
 
To provide high quality, accessible music instruction for all persons who have a desire to learn: the talented, the hobbyist, the musically curious, the disabled and the disadvantaged.
To insure that no serious student is denied the opportunity for quality instruction due to race, gender, creed, national origin or lack of finances, lesson fees being determined according to family income.
To maintain a fully qualified teaching staff sensitive to the individual student's musical abilities and needs.
To foster an atmosphere that encourages a love of music, delight in creative expression and the satisfaction of progress and accomplishment through dedication and diligent practice.
To offer a wide variety of musical experiences and opportunities for participation with others.
