| General guidelines when using CMS accompanists: Piano accompaniment for instrumental and vocal students is available for CMS recitals. The rates vary depending on the difficulty of the music to be performed and the extent of rehearsal time. We request music be submitted to the accompanist at least two weeks before the recital date. If you wish to provide your own accompanist, you may do so with the approval of your teacher, however, CMS advises the use of professional accompanists. A CMS ACCOMPANIST FORM, with all necessary information and pricing, IS AVAILABLE IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE. | |||||
| RECITAL AND PERFORMANCE DRESS CODE | |||||
| Each performance is special for the CMS faculty, the staff, the student and the audience. Recitals are about the music, what each student has learned, as well as stage presence. CMS does request appropriate clothing be worn for each recital. We ask you to refrain from wearing blue jeans, shorts and flip-flops. If in doubt, please ask. | |||||
